F.A.Q’s

Do you experience any side effects?

1. Bruising: The suction involved in vacuum therapy can sometimes cause mild to moderate bruising, especially in people with sensitive skin.

2. Redness: Temporary redness or irritation can occur where the treatment was applied due to increased blood flow and the suction action.

3. Swelling: Some people experience mild swelling in the treated area, which usually subsides within a few hours or days.

4. Soreness: You might feel some soreness or tenderness in the treated area, similar to the feeling after a workout.

5. Dehydration : Your body is currently detoxifying and will need to hydrate with water to avoid dizziness.

Does any of your body sculpting treatment hurt?

Non-invasive body sculpting treatments, including vacuum therapy, are generally not considered painful, but experiences can vary depending on the individual and the specific treatment.

Here’s what you might expect:

1. Mild Discomfort: Some people report feeling mild discomfort during the treatment, often described as a pulling or tugging sensation, especially with vacuum-based therapies.

2. Sensation of Pressure or Heat: Depending on the technique, you might feel pressure, or heat in the treatment area.

3. No Significant Pain: Most people do not find these treatments painful and often compare the sensation to a deep tissue massage or the feeling after a workout.

4. Aftercare Sensations: After the treatment, you may feel some tenderness or soreness in the treated area, similar to the feeling after exercising, but this usually subsides quickly

Why do I have to drink water before the treatment ?

Drinking water before a non-invasive body sculpting treatment is recommended for several important reasons:

1. Hydration of Tissues: Proper hydration ensures that your tissues are well-hydrated, which can improve the effectiveness of the treatment. Hydrated cells respond better to the treatment, making it easier for the body to process and eliminate fat.

2. Lymphatic System Support: Water helps to support your lymphatic system, which is crucial for flushing out the fat cells and toxins that the treatment targets. An efficient lymphatic system aids in the elimination of these byproducts, leading to better results.

3. Improved Circulation: Staying hydrated improves blood circulation, which can enhance the overall effectiveness of the treatment. Better circulation means that the treatment can more effectively reach and impact the targeted areas.

4. Reduced Side Effects: Being well-hydrated may help to minimize potential side effects, such as bruising or swelling, by promoting healthy skin and tissue resilience.

5. Enhanced Metabolism: Drinking water can boost your metabolism, helping your body to burn fat more efficiently, which complements the effects of the sculpting treatment.

Why can’t I drink any alcohol before and after the treatment?

It’s generally advised to avoid drinking alcohol before and after non-invasive body sculpting treatments for several reasons:

Before the Treatment:

1. Dehydration: Alcohol can dehydrate your body, which may reduce the effectiveness of the treatment. Proper hydration is important for optimal results, as it helps with blood circulation and the function of your lymphatic system, which is involved in eliminating fat and toxins.

2. Increased Sensitivity: Alcohol can make your skin more sensitive and potentially increase the risk of bruising, swelling, or irritation during the treatment.

3. Impact on Blood Vessels: Alcohol can dilate blood vessels, which might lead to increased redness or sensitivity in the treated areas. This can interfere with the treatment process.

After the Treatment:

1. Slowed Recovery: Alcohol consumption can slow down the body’s natural healing processes. Since your body needs to process and eliminate the disrupted fat cells after treatment, alcohol can hinder this process.

2. Increased Swelling and Bruising: Alcohol can exacerbate swelling and bruising, both of which are common, though usually mild, side effects of body sculpting treatments.

3. Interference with Results: Because alcohol can strain the liver and lymphatic system, it may impede the body’s ability to effectively metabolize and remove fat cells, potentially compromising the overall results of the treatment.

For the best outcomes and to minimize potential side effects, it’s usually recommended to avoid alcohol for at least 24-48 hours before and after your treatment. Always follow the specific advice of your treatment provider.

How may days apart do I wait until the next treatment?

For vacuum therapy and SQL treatments, you can have them done every three days, though once a week for vacuum therapy is also effective. For any heated treatments we offer, it's best to wait 5-7 days between sessions.

Can I workout after the treatment?

You can usually work out after a non-invasive body sculpting treatment, but it’s important to listen to your body and follow any specific advice given by your practitioner. Here are some general guidelines:

1. Light Exercise: Light to moderate exercise, such as walking or gentle stretching, is typically fine after treatment and can even help stimulate circulation and the lymphatic system, aiding in the removal of fat cells.

2. Avoid Intense Workouts: It’s often recommended to avoid intense or high-impact workouts for at least 24-48 hours after treatment. This allows your body to recover and reduces the risk of swelling or bruising in the treated areas.

3. Hydration: Ensure you stay well-hydrated, especially if you plan to exercise. Proper hydration is key to supporting your body’s natural detoxification processes.

4. Listen to Your Body: If you experience any discomfort, soreness, or unusual symptoms, it’s best to rest and allow your body more time to recover before resuming your regular workout routine.
